Siddha, Suresh B	94605eff57	[PATCH] x86-64/i386: Intel HT, Multi core detection fixes ... Fields obtained through cpuid vector 0x1(ebx[16:23]) and vector 0x4(eax[14:25], eax[26:31]) indicate the maximum values and might not always be the same as what is available and what OS sees. So make sure "siblings" and "cpu cores" values in /proc/cpuinfo reflect the values as seen by OS instead of what cpuid instruction says. Linus Torvalds	1da177e4c3	Linux-2.6.12-rc2 ... Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it.
