Kumar Gala	400d221274	[PATCH] ppc32: make cur_cpu_spec a single pointer instead of an array ... Changed ppc32 so that cur_cpu_spec is just a single pointer for all CPUs. Additionally, made call_setup_cpu check to see if the cpu_setup pointer is NULL or not before calling the function. This lets remove the dummy cpu_setup calls that just return. Tom Rini	95409aaca7	[PATCH] ppc32: Kill PVR_440* defines ... The following patch changes the usages of PVR_440* into strcmp's with the cpu_name field, and removes the defines altogether. The Ebony portion was briefly tested long ago. One benefit of moving from PVR-tests to string tests in general is that not all CPUs can be on and be able to do this type of comparison. Linus Torvalds	1da177e4c3	Linux-2.6.12-rc2 ... Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it.
