Michael Hanselmann	5474c120aa	[PATCH] Rewritten backlight infrastructure for portable Apple computers ... This patch contains a total rewrite of the backlight infrastructure for portable Apple computers. Backward compatibility is retained. A sysfs interface allows userland to control the brightness with more steps than before. Userland is allowed to upload a brightness curve for different monitors, similar to Mac OS X. Antonino A. Daplas	cb639258f9	[PATCH] fbdev: atyfb: Remove BIOS-less booting ... CONFIG_ATYFB_XL_INIT option is broken for a long time. It will always cause a kernel hang. Since no one has fixed this problem for some time now, remove it from atyfb. Linus Torvalds	1da177e4c3	Linux-2.6.12-rc2 ... Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it.
